Tyrone’s been a staple of the SoCal music scene for a few years now. A great performer, person, dancer, etc., has made him a huge draw, but the main pull is the voice. Tyrone’s got a voice…period. Stack it up next to anyone’s and he’ll not only hold his own, he’ll most likely outshine. The soulful voice doesn’t just sit in the pentatonic ’soul’ box though, it also fits nicely into the ‘rock’ and ‘pop’ songs he crafts. If you wanna make a girl sigh, check out “Sea Breeze.” You wanna hear a pained soul? Check out the Bill Withers-esque “Need You.” Want a ’spread-your-arms-&-spin-around-in-a-crowded-street’ anthem? Listen to “Falling.” Wanna be inspired and get your stank face on all at the same time? Turn up “What Are We Fighting For.” Seriously, the voice…ridiculous.
