Review:

It’s nice to hear Beatles influence that isn’t straight plagiarism. At the center of a very hip and burgeoning Nashville rock scene, Trent sits nicely on that angle of repose where art and approachability rest. His voice also sits nicely on my ears. Think Andy Sturmer of Jellyfish, except with cooler music behind the melodies…or better yet, the afore-alluded-to McCartney. Definitely listen to “The Water” & “Helpless State.” And definitely keep an eye on more such talent to come out of this circle of artists in Nashville.
