If you were to put them in contemporary company it would be with the likes of Jet and Kings of Leon, yet with The Black Summer Crush you get the feeling that they’ve tapped into the source of the rock & roll river and you get to drink the genre at its purest form. Dirty guitar riffs, running bass lines, and tight harmonies will evoke Zeppelin, except when they do you know that Zeppelin would be proud to be next to them.
