Seth Perisho is Creative Director of The Ampersand Agency, a small, branding-focused advertising firm in Austin, Texas. Before joining Ampersand, he developed creative for some of the most recognizable clients in the world at Tracy-Locke in Dallas, Barkley in Kansas City and most recently at GSD&M in Austin. He claims to still bear a scar from the laser removal of his Omnicom barcode tattoo after leaving the world of huge, holding company-owned agencies. It serves as a reminder of how pleased he is to have switched sides from the Empire to the Rebel Alliance. Seth’s past work includes broadcast, print, online and guerilla for Pepsi, Pizza Hut, BMW, Payless Shoes, Sonic Drive-Ins, Chili’s, Frito-Lay, Norwegian Cruise Line, Citgo, AARP, Wal-Mart and more. Seth has won numerous industry awards, has a collection of pop culture artifacts that can only be described as “startling”, loves to play guitar despite his inability to play anything but bar chords and still finds the phrase “Lambada, The Forbidden Dance” hilarious years after the reference has grown stale.
